| Wireless Partners Derry was chosen as the location for the Northern Ireland Broadband Flagship Project as a result of the innovative partnership between Derry City Council, University of Ulster, Magee and NWRC. This partnership has delivered cutting-edge wireless broadband applications in government, education and visitor services. The private sector have been actively engaged in the project through the Wireless Technology Centre, which provides independent advice and hands on experience of the latest wireless technologies available to local companies. It is the partners' hope that local companies will be inspired to develop wireless content and applications that can be used globally. |
